UAWLocal12 > Valentine (Tim) Pilat retired in January of 2004 and held various job titles including Cirt Commander, NWOSTF Command Officer, Evidence Technician and Shift Commander of Road Patrol. He was hired in 1972 and is married to Beth Ann. His retirement plans include starting his own Private Investigation Firm.

UAWLocal12 > Sue Alex retired in June of 2003 and performed various jobs including Corrections Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Corporal, Sergeant, and EAP Coordinator. During retirement, she plans on working on her Masters Degree in Community Counseling and has four Children: John-30, Brittany-16, Doug-14 and Danielle-14.

UAWLocal12 > John E. Baum retired in January of 2004 and performed various jobs including Corrections Officer, Training Officer, Sergeant of Common Pleas Court, Sergeant of Family Court, and Sergeant of Inmate Transportation. He was hired in 1983 and is married to Joanne. His retirement plans include Golf and Travel

UAWLocal12 > John E Gray retired in July of 2004 as a Co DS Corp. He was hired in July of 1976 and plans to do a lot of traveling as a retiree.

UAWLocal12 > Charles L. Ghesquiere Jr. retired in August of 2004 as a Road Patrol Sergeant and was hired in July of 1976. He served in the Marines from 1969 to 1975 and has been married to wife Christine for 21 years. His plans for retirement include a lot of golf and travel.

UAWLocal12 > R. Gene Bailey retired in May of 2004 from the Lucas County Sheriffs Department. Prior to being hired in February o f1973, he worked at Doehler Jarvis and Jeep. He enjoys music, and videos and plans to spend more time singing as a retiree.

UAWLocal12 > Albert Lee Easton (Butch) retired October 1, 2004 as a CPL. Deputy Sheriff. He was hired in June of 1977. Prior to being hired, he served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963 and also worked at Chrysler Machining in Perrysburg. His plans for retirement include golfing, and bike riding.

UAWLocal12 > Ted Frederick retired in February of 2006. He was hired in November of 1976 and worked as a Booking Sergeant and Communication Sergeant. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1966. he plans to spend time with wife Carolin on 43 years and enjoys outdoor activities and woodworking. UAWLocal12 > Sandy Vanover retired in January of 2006. She was hired in 1978 and worked as a Corrections Officer, Booking Officer and Sergeant. She served in the U.S. Airforce from 1972 to 1978 and is married to husband Randy for 21 years. Sandys plans include travel and she will start off by going to Hawaii in September.
